Meet Dr. Michael Skrobola

Approach

Dr. Michael Skrobola is dedicated to providing our patients with the most beautiful smile with comfortable and cutting-edge orthodontic treatment. With his warm and fun approach, he really knows how to make an anxious kid feel comfortable. Dr. Mike is very much committed and dedicated to providing a pleasant and positive orthodontic experience for children and adults.


Credentials

Dr. Mike grew up in Middletown, New York, and attended college at Lafayette. He then received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University at Buffalo, where he graduated number one in his class. Dr. Mike was elected to the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon Society, reserved for the top 10% of dentists in the nation.

After graduating from dental school, he pursued his passion for orthodontics at the University of Rochester’s Eastman Institute for Oral Health, where he completed an additional two-year residency in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. Following residency, he earned board certification from the American Board of Orthodontists. This voluntary certification involves years of rigorous testing and is the highest qualification in orthodontics. Professionally, Dr. Mike is published for his research on growth and development. He is currently on the board for the Scranton District Dental Society.


Outside the Office

Outside the office, Dr. Mike loves spending time with his family (especially his wife and son, Michael IV!), weightlifting, fantasy football, and eating at one of the many delicious local pizza and wing establishments.

Meet Dr. Andrea Frantz

Approach

Parents and children love Dr. Andrea Frantz for her warmth and kindness. She believes in taking the time to get to know her patients and undertaking a thorough diagnosis of the orthodontic condition to determine the most suitable treatment plan for each patient’s individual needs. Dr. Andrea’s smile will surely calm your nerves!


Credentials

Born and raised in Scranton, Dr. Andrea attended college at the University of Pennsylvania. She then received her Doctorate of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) and Masters in Public Health (MPH) degrees from the Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry and graduated at the top of her class. She was also elected to the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon Society, reserved for the top 10% of dentists in the nation.

Dr. Andrea completed her Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics residency at the University of Rochester’s Eastman Institute for Oral Health. Following her residency, she earned board certification from the American Board of Orthodontists. Professionally, Dr. Andrea is a board member of the Greater Philadelphia Society of Orthodontists and the Scranton district dental society.. She is also a clinical faculty member at the University of Pennsylvania, where she teaches Preventive and Interceptive Orthodontics.


Outside the Office

Outside the office, Dr. Andrea enjoys spending time with her family, especially her husband and son! She also enjoys exercising, playing the piano, and spending time outdoors fishing, skiing, and boating. Dr. Andrea and Dr. Mike are very excited to raise their family in the area where Dr. Andrea grew up.
